MARZ In-class Outreach Success!
For the fourth year, MARZ visits Center Line Public Schools to provide a lesson in engineering for third graders.
Our fabulous program coordinator Marjie Jenkins returned to CLPS to provide hands-on programming for 198 third graders at all three elementary schools.
Working with district personnel to provide a lesson aligned with current curriculum, students were challenged to help their pal David bowl from his wheelchair. Students worked in teams of three to share turns in building their robot and helped each other along the way. During the second session, students connected their robots to programming software and experimented with movement, lights and sound.
