Nominations are OPEN for Macomb County FRC Teams!
Macomb Automation and Robotics Zone (MARZ) is pleased to provide grants of up to $1,000 for currently registered FRC teams located in Macomb County, Michigan. Funds may be used to purchase needed materials, equipment or for travel expenses related to attending competitions.
Criteria
MARZ team sponsorship awards is a competitive process based on available funds and the following criteria:
Applicant must be a currently registered FRC team based in Macomb County, Michigan
Priority points are awarded to teams that have been registered for five years or less.
Priority points are given for teams in economically disadvantaged communities.
A completed application must be received by 5 p.m. on January 21, 2026.
Acceptance Terms
Checks are issued only to the team’s fiscal partner (the school or affiliated 501(c)(3) organization). No checks will be issued to individuals.
By accepting a grant, the team agrees to acknowledge MARZ sponsorship by affixing a provided sticker on their robot, including the MARZ logo on their website and other related promotional materials when possible.
By accepting a grant, the team agrees to provide a school-year end report with information about how the team did competitively; how the funds were used; and the ways in which MARZ sponsorship was acknowledged.
